King Pine Offers To Match Customers’ Donations to Haiti Relief This Weekend!

In a great effort to boost humanitarian aid in the wake of the Haiti disaster, the owners of Purity Spring Resort have decided to match any donations made by customers of King Pine through this holiday weekend.  Simply go to the King Pine ticket desk, make a donation, and double your money will go to help disaster victims.  The Eastern ski community has been generous throughout the years with food drives, etc; this is a wonderful offer by the Hoyt family to help people in extreme need.

Bob Hoyt, Purity Spring Resort President and King Pine Ski Area General Manger, says, “So many people want to do something, but don’t know how or where to start. We are providing a place for people to make a monetary donation and we felt that it was the right thing to do by matching 100% of every dollar received.  We chose to donate to Partners With Haiti because many locals are involved with this organization and 100% of our donated funds will go towards relief aid in Haiti, which we feel is how our customers want their donations to be distributed.”

We at EasternSlopes.com would like to make a challenge to you.  Read about what King Pine has to offer in this article, and take your family there this weekend.  Figure out how much you save on your tickets over what you would have paid somewhere else, and donate that amount.  Double your donation will go direct to Haiti relief!  Net cost to you: nothing! And you and your family just might have more fun trying the snowshoeing, cross country skiing, and skating than you would have just going downhill.  A win-win situation, and a HUGE win for people who are suffering right now!
